I`ve known you all my life dear friend , So young and full of life
I remember you as a newborn , so beautiful and alive
I`ve watched you crawl . I watched you walk , And run into my hands
But now as I stand over you , I don`t completly understand

She set her goals at an early stage , And she followed through

They say that you are good , But , Why do I see bad
You blessed us with her life , And you took her with your hand
You say love life it`s good , but , In essence it just plain sucks
For you to go and take her life , From people who loved her so much
So now I stand before you Kate , A red rose held in my hand
I tried to smile , but my tears are falling , I dropped the rose again
I leaned over and picked it up , And to look away from where you lay
But something drew me near you , a voice saying " Please Don`t Go Away "
I know you see me hurting here , In my pool of tears
I`ll never see you again , Till that day he calls me there
I picked a red rose for you my friend , And seal it in my heart
Cos what we shared lasts forver , And our love will never part
I placed this rose before you , Cos it`s from me to you
