Oh my God! I probably would not have commented at all, but I am so totally touched and moved. I am worried about that young girl, Shelly, with the brain tumor. I visited that site and noticed that her Dad hadn't updated the journal since 1999. What ha pened to her? I felt peaceful, reading some of the wise sayings. I wrote down the one by Ali Ibn Abu Talib and will put it on my wall at work. You don't even know me, but this site is GREAT. You wrote a site for my Cajun Pop, R. Patureau, and his pooc Skeeter. He sent it to me and that is how I happened upon your site. The music was a beautiful touch, as it added to the serenity of the whole site.

You Dear Sweet Lady, My father died on 12 Apr '45 after only four days in theatre. Killed by sniper fire as he (a medic) rushed to the aid of a wounded comrade near Leipzig, he died to preserve our freedoms. He was buried among eight thousand others at Margratin Holland Ame ican Cemetary, and a Dutch lady religiously placed flowers at the base of his white cross/grave marker each Memorial Day. I too believed we were risking it all for the same reasons, yet we were betrayed by our leaders in Washington. Thank you sweet lady for helping Pat live on. We visited your State about 8 years ago, and ever since we often talk about the beautiful drive we had along the ocean and how great the people are.
