Anger Management
"It wasn't great, but it was fine!"
When Adam Sandler's character gets on a plane and “assaults” a flight attendant. He gets sentenced to anger management. What you didn’t see in the preview is Jack Nicholson was sitting next to him on the flight. Adam goes to a session with colorful group of people in the anger group. Rob Schneider isn’t in the group which is surprising because he is in all those movies. Adam doesn’t have an explosive anger problem, he has an implosive anger problem, so Jack moves in with him. Jack then has him taking a break from his girlfriend Marissa Tomei. They go on a trip. Meet up with an elementary school bully who is now a Buddhist. Jack begins dating Marisa Tomei and Adam goes after him at a Yankees game with funny results..
This was alright. Not bad not great. A lot of very funny stuff. Some stuff that wasn’t that funny. The very funny stuff did win the battle. This originally got an R but got resubmitted with no edits for a PG-13. This really does seem like it could be an R. The acting was good. The story was pretty good. One of the treatments Jack gives is to sing “I Feel Pretty” from West Side Story. Adam sang it like Opera Man I think it was and it was pretty funny (Also cause they stopped in the middle of a bridge in New York to sing it). It happens a few times. Heather Graham also appears. She plays someone in a bar that Adam goes home with after Jack leaves without him. The ending was a typical Adam Sandler movie ending. Or is it…I thought it was alright.

Grade:   B
