REVIEW
Phone Booth
"Keeps you interested the whole time!"
The movie opens with some facts about phone use and cell phone stuff. Stu is an agent for celebrities and stuff. He uses his cell phone a lot except when he makes a call on the same phone booth when he calls his girlfriend (He is married Uh oh). On day he makes a call to his girl friend and then hangs up. A pizza guy comes by and tells him someone ordered it and said to deliver it to a guy in that phone booth. Stu tells him to **** off. The phone rings. He answers it. Suddenly, Kiefer Sutherlands voice surrounds you and he asks why didn’t he accept the pizza. He tells him if he gets off the phone he will kill him. Some hookers or something from across the street come over and want to use the phone. He says he can’t but he can’t. They begin to be pests and get some guy to get Stu out. They struggle and Kiefer shoots him from above. The hookers think Stu did and call the police. Forest Whitaker the negotiator comes and talks. Kiefer makes Stu be honest about a few things.
This was a very good movie. The language was very strong. The acting was superb. The movie never seems to loose its intensity. You can never lose interest because something is always happening. Joel Schumacher has totally redeemed himself. This probably was a good idea to be postponed but worth everyday. The ending was surprising. It ended how you wouldn’t expect and goes back to what you would expect.
