Vintage Postcards of Edinburg Ind

Hello this is my collection of old vintage postcards of Edinburg Ind. The card on the left is the Edinburgh First Christian Church since 1834 is the oldest existing church in Edinburgh. The current building was dedicated August 12,1888. this postcard was postmarked 1912.

Featured Tip:

Masonic Temple and Opera House. This card was postmark 1911. I remember this building as the Pixie Theater, one of my first movie was Bonnie & Clyde.

Starch Works, Glucose Factory and Interurban Power House. The building no longer exist was located above the Irwin park, the card is postmarked March 1909.

Children's Outing on Blue River Edinburg Ind. This card has no postmark but I suspect its between 1907 to 1912.

I also have a couple of cabinet cards This mans name was William Hamilton Thompson Dec. 7, 1833- Aug 28, 1913. looks like a prominent person in the Edinburg area.

The Catholic Church in Edinburg in this postcard the most notable thing in the sidewalk going up to the church is not the same way now.

This is the other cabinet card, this is a family that likes to where hats, most of the people are Thompson's. The card was printed by Beal.

East Main Cross is the hub in down town Edinburg, this is around 1906 to 1912. You can see people standing  in the corner.

Another card of the Edinburg First Christian Church about the year 1950, you can see the bell tower is about twenty feet taller than it is now.
