This mouse could be a danger to your kitty. Following is a story that I received from one of my cat page visitors. I had a few of these mice that I had bought for my kitties. I had no idea that they might be hazardous to their health. Please read on...

A seemingly innocent cat toy almost killed our cat Samson. Please read Samson's story...

Like most cats, our two year old tabby Samson enjoys playing with toy mice. We never imagined how an innocent cat toy could turn into such a nightmare. Samson started to vomit last Friday and like most pet owners, we were not too concerned at first. The vomiting became more frequent so we took him to the Veterinarian. The doctor prescribed an anti-vomit medication and sent us home.

A few days passed and on Tuesday, it was apparent there was something seriously wrong. He continued to vomit and was very lethargic. We took him back to the hospital and the doctor ran blood tests and injected Samson with some more anti-vomit medication. We were told if he was not better by morning, to bring him back. The next morning Samson was lethargic, vomiting, not eating or drinking.

On Wednesday afternoon he underwent emergency surgery to remove a piece of plastic from his intestine. We were told by the Doctor, if we had waited just a few more hours, we would have lost Sammy. The piece of plastic removed from Samson's belly, was approx. 1 inch long. It was later discovered the plastic piece had been chewed off of Sammy's favorite toy. A small fur mouse. Please view the sample picture attached. This is a personal plea to all cat lovers and parents of small children. If you have purchased these type of mice, discard them immediately.

There is nothing stopping this from happening to your cat or your infant. Footnote. Samson is back home and is doing well. We are all so relieved to have him home with us. The total Vet bill was $1450.00.
