A standard production mobile pod, the Mistral is used primarily for colony defense, although it can also be used for basic construction. Not very fast nor powerful, the Mistral serves its purpose as defense against weaker targets and is no match for enemy MS. Still, the cheap cost of production warrants use in a limited fashion. The Mistral is a two-seater; one for the pilot, and one for the equipment operator.

gatling cannons - The Mistral is equipped with dual 40x185mm gatling cannons, with one mounted on either side of the main fuselage. With a high rate of fire, the gatlings can do moderate damage to armored vehicles, but are of little use against enemy MS unless the Mistral unit can maintain point of fire contact with MS, which is unlikely given the Mistral's limited combat potential.
