Combination Patterns

Sometimes a mule will get patterning from both parents.  Or, a mule by a roan jack and a mare with a lot of normal white (Blaze, socks) will have a colored mule colt.  Spotted jacks to appy mares can produce some interesting results - those will be coming soon as I get them scanned in.  Here are some of the more subtle and usual patterns.

Rosebud, spotted jack and red roan spotted appaloosa.

Perfect Day - spotted jack,  tobiano TWH  mare

Snowie - by a dappled red roan jack (roan is a pattern of white) out of a sorrel mare - White with faint dark areas, spotted skin.  A true "Crop out!"
