Spotted - Tobiano Types
We talked on the other page about how the tobiano pattern comes through incomplete.  We have yet to see a mule with the mostly-white end of the tobiano pattern- dark head, dark flank patches.  A VERY FEW, like those on this page, are nearly-perfect tobianos, but the pattern is usually 50/50 white to dark.  I can name 4 of the 2000 mules in the registry currently who have a pattern nearly identical to Juede.  I will try to get all 4 of their pictures up.  Meanwhile our article Seeing Spots show the variances of the patterns.  It is available through ADMS, but I wil try to get it posted as part of this site at a later date.  Juanita may also have copies for all you Braybrats.
Juede is the closest thing to a true tobiano you'll find in a mule.  REMEMBER - we have only 4 like this in the registry to date!!!
What a gorgeous mule.  I will try to re-post this in color.  Annie Mule is a bright sorrel, flaxen m/t.  Black sire, Perch/Paint cross, grey tobiano dam.
Winner is by a red/gray roan jack, out of a bay tobiano mare.  He has wonderful dun factoring, 2 socks, 2 stockings.  Still really flashy!
Cherokee - a true Cayuse mule from an Indian reservation!  Tobiano dam - as with most mules, just 4 stockings and a tail splash.
