Censorship
Many agree that it's necessary. That's not the question. But what should be censored is forever being debated.
What should be allowed in public school libraries? On prime time television? Where is the line between R and NC-17? When is a
representation of a nude human being art, and when is it pornography? What should and should not be allowed on the Internet;
what should filtering software filter out?
Various organizations are created to answer these questions. Some are pro-censorship, such as the Parent's Television Council, and
some are not, like BooksAtoZ. What follows is a more in-depth look at what each of these two organizations is and is not doing.
