Glorification of God
|
هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلاَمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ |
huwa allāhu allažī la ilaha illa huwa almaliku alquddūsu assalāmu almu·minu almuhaīminu al`azīzu aljabbāru almutakabbiru subĥāna allāhi `amma yushrikūna []
God is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to God! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him. [surah Baqarah; 2: 250] |

الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىَ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذا بَاطِلاً سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ |
... [] |
Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire [surah ali' Imran; 3: 191] |

إِنَّمَا اللَّهُ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ سُبْحَانَهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ وَكِيلاً |
innama allāhu ilahun wāĥidun subĥānahu an yakūna lahu waladun lahu ma fī assamāwāti wama fī al·arđi wakafa billāhi wakīlan [] |
For God is one God: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is God as a Disposer of affairs. [surah Nisa; 4: 171]

سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ , بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ تَكُنْ لَهُ صَاحِبَةٌ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ |
subĥānahu wata`ala `amma yaşifūna, badī`u assamāwāti wal·arđi anna yakūnu lahu waladun walam takun lahu şāĥibatun waķhalaqa kulla shaī·in wahuwa bikulli shaī·in `alīmun [] [] |
Praise and glory be to Him! (for He is) above what they attribute to Him. To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: How can He have a son when He hath no consort? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things. [surah An'am; 6: 100-101]

أَلاَ لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
ala lahu alķhalqu wal·amru tabāraka allāhu rabbu al`alamīna [] |
Is it not His to create and to govern? Blessed be God, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds!. [surah A'raf; 7: 54]

فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُنْ مِنَ السَّاجِدِينَ |
Fasabbih bihamdi Rabbika wakun mina assajidīna [] |
But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. [surah Hijr; 15: 98]

|
وَيَقُولُونَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنْ كَانَ وَعْدُ) رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولاً) |
Subhanah Rubbina in kana wa'du Rubbina lamaf`ūlan [] |
("And they say:) 'Glory to our Lord! Truly has the promise of our Lord been fulfilled!'" [surah Bani Isra'il; 17: 108]

|
فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ |
Fatabarak-Allahu ahsanul-khaliqina [] |
So Blessed be God, The Best to create!. [surah Mu'minun; 23: 14]

|
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَاجًا وَقَمَرًا مُنِيرًا |
tabaraka alladhi ja'ala fi assama'i burujan waja'ala fiha sirajan waqamaran muniiran [] |
Blessed is He Who made constellations in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light; [surah Furqan; 25: 61]

|
فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ |
... [] |
So (give) glory to Allah, when ye reach eventide and when ye rise in the morning [surah Hijr; 30: 17]
|
|
فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ |
... [] |
So glory to Him in Whose hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back.
[surah Ya-Sin; 36: 83]

|
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ |
Subhanah Rabbi asSamawati wal·ardi, rabbi al arshi 'amma yasifoon [] |
Glory to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne (of Authority)! (He is free) from the things they attribute (to him)! [surah Zukhruf; 43: 82] |

وَتَبَارَكَ الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَعِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ |
watabāraka allažī lahu mulku assamāwāti wal·arđi wama baīnahuma wa`indahu `ilmu assā`ati wa·ilaīhi turja`ūna [] |
And blessed is He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all between them: with Him is the Knowledge of the Hour (of Judgment): and to Him shall ye be brought back. [surah Zukhruf; 43: 85]

تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلاَلِ وَالإِكْرَامِ |
tabāraka asmu rabbika žī aljalali wal·ikrāmi [] |
Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. [surah Rahman; 55: 78]

هُوَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلَامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ |

Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him [surah Al-Hashr; 59: 23]

يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ |

Whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare the Praises and Glory of Allah: to Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs praise: and He has power over all things. [surah At-Taghabun; 64: 1]

اللَّهُ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَالسَّمَاء بِنَاء وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ ذَلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
... [] |
It is Allah Who has made for you the earth as a resting place, and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape- and made your shapes beautiful,- and has provided for you Sustenance, of things pure and good;- such is Allah your Lord. So Glory to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! [surah Al-Mulk; 67: 1]

سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى |

Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High [surah Al-Ala'; 87: 1]
|
|
فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا |
... [] |
Celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and pray for His Forgiveness: For He is Oft-Returning (in Grace and Mercy). [surah Al-Nasr; 110: 3]
