Poems for Mothers

I'd give her my life just so that
she'd live longer
I'd give her my strength
to make her stronger

I'd take away her tears
so that she'd never cry
I'd take away her frowns
so that her smile could never die

I'll always be there for her
when ever she needs me
If I could I'd give her happy thoughts
that only she could see

Though one of these days
she'll be gone
she'll always be my mom
with every day that goes on

Someone Special

All your life you cared for me
and still you labour on
you sacrificed just everything
in all those years now gone
Your tender heart is still the same
Your warmth is ever near
although now Im all grown up
you still can wipe my tear
You're lovely face still shows concern
when I feel down or sad
your gentle hugs and words of comfort
make my heart so glad
and even now when I fall ill
you come close to my side
you know my feelings inside out
from you I cannot hide
The world becomes a batter place
through her its sustained
for Allah Willed she play this role
this person I've not named
but very clear that this is someone
deserving great respect
and Allah orders every Muslim to her rights protect
a noble function she's assigned
it's unlike any other
digified and honourable
can only be a mother.
