Dua's for ones-self


 


اللهم اغفر لي ذنبي كلو, دقه وجله, واوله, وآخره, وعلانيته وسره 

Allahum-maghfirli dhanbi kullahu,diqqahu,
wajillahu, wa awwa-lahu, wa aakhirahu
wa 'ala-niyyatu wa sirrahu

(Oh Allah, Forgive me all my sins,
great and small, the first and the last,
those that are apparent and those that are hidden)
[Muslim:1/350]

 

 


اللهم اني اعوذ برضاك من سخطك, وبمعافاتك من عقوبتك, واعوذ بك منك, لااحصي ثنء عليك انت كما اثنيت على نفسك

Allahumma inni a'udhu bika bi ridaaka min sakhatika, wa bi mu'a-faatika min oqu-batika,
wa a'udhu bika minka, la uhise thanaa'an 'alaiyka anta kama ath-naiyta 'ala nafsika


(Oh Allah, I seek Protection in Your Pleasure
from Your Anger, and I seek Protection in Your
Forgiveness from Your Punishment.  I Seek Protection in You from You. I cannot count Your Praises. You are as You have Praised Yourself.)
[Muslim 1/352]

 

 

اللهم اغفر لي, وارحمني, واهدني, واجبرني, وعافني, وارزقني, وارفعني

Allahumm-maghfirli, war hamni, wahdini
wajburni, wa 'aafini, warzuqni, wara'ni

(Oh Allah Forgive me, have Mercy
on me, Guide me, Support me
Protect me, provide for me and elevate me)

 

 

اللهم أعني على ذكرك, وشكرك, وحسن عبادتك


Allahumma a'inni ala dhikrika, wa shukrika
wa h usni iibaad-at'ika

(Oh Allah, Help me to Remember You, and Thank You, and Worship You in the Best of manners.)
[Muslim 1:534]

 

 

اللهم إني أعوذ بك من البخل, وأعوذبك من الجبن, وأعوذبك من أن ارد إلى أرذل العمر, وأعوذبك من فتنة الدنيا وعذاب القبرا


Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-bukhli,
wa a'udhu bika minal jubni, wa a'udhu bika
min an urada ilaa ar dhalil-'umri,
wa a'udhu bika min fitnah-tid-dunya
wa 'adhaabil-qabri

(Oh Allah, I seek Your Protection from miserliness,
I seek Your Protection from cowardice, and I seek Your Protection from being returned to feeble old age. I seek Your Protection from the trials/troubles of this world and from the torment of the grave.)

اللهم إني أسألك الجنة وأعوذبك من النار


Allahumma inni as'alukal-Jannah,
wa a'udhu bika min an-naar.

(Oh Allah, I ask For Paradise, and
Protection from the fire.)
[Abu Dawud]

 

 

اللهم إني أسألك يا الله بأنك الواحد اللأحد الصمد الذي لم يلد ولم يو لد يكن له كفوا أحد, أن تغفر لي ذنوبي إنك أنت الغفور الرحيم


Allahhumma inni as'aluka Ya Allahu
bi annakal-Wahidul Ahadu Samadul ladhi,
lam ya-lid wa lam-youlad, wa lam yakullahu kufwan Ahad, an taghfira-li dhunuubi innaka
Antal-Ghafoorur-Raheem.

(Oh Allah, I ask, Oh Allah, You are the One,
The Only, Self-Sufficient Master, Who was
not Begotten and Begets not, And none
is equal to Him, Forgive me my sins,
surely You are Forgiving, Merciful.
[Ahmed 4:364, An Nasa'i 3:54,55]

 

 

اللهم عافنى فى بدنى, اللهم عافنى فى سمعي, اللهم عافنى فى بصري ـ( ثلاثا)ـ


Allahumma 'aafini fi badani, Allahumma 'aafini
fi sam'i, Allahumma 'aafini bi basri

(Oh Allah, Grant Health to my body, Oh Allah,
Grant health to my hearing, Oh Allah,
Grant health to my sight) (three times)
[Abu Dawud]

 

 

اللهم انت ربي لا إله إلا أنت, خلقتنى وأنا عبدك وأنا على عهدك ووعدك ما استطعت, أعوذبك من شر ما صنعت, أبوء لك بنعمتك على وأبوء بذنبى فاغفر لى فإنه لا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت- ثلاثا


Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa Ant.
Khalaqtaani wa ana 'abduka wa ana 'ala
ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'at.
Audh bika min sharri ma sana't. Abu'u laka bi ni'matika 'alayya wa'bu'u bidhanbi faghfirli fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa ant.

(Oh Allah!, You are my Lord, there is No deity
but You. You Created me and I am Your
servant and I am trying my best to keep
my Oath (of faith) to You and to seek
to live in the hope of Your Promise.
I seek Refuge in You from my greatest evil
deeds. I acknowledge Your Blessings upon
me and my sins. So forgive me, for none
but You can forgive sins.) (three times)
[al-Bukhari]
- What Muhammad (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) called "the master du'a for seeking forgiveness"

 

 

(اللهم إنا نسألك رضاك والجنة  (سبعه


Allahumma ajirni min an-naar.

(Oh Allah! Save me from the fire.)
(seven times)

 

 

(اللهم إنا نسألك رضاك والجنة (8 مرات


Allahumma inna nas'aluka ridhaka
wal-Jannahata.

(Oh Allah!, we ask You for Your
Pleasure and Paradise.) (8 times)

 

 

اللهم اهدنى لأحسن الأخلاق, فإنه لا يهدي لأحسنها إلا أنت واصرف عني سئها, لا يصرف عني سيئها إلا أنت

Allahumma ahdinil-Ahsanil-ahlaqi, fa'innahu
la yahdil-ahsaniha, illa anta, wasrif 'ani sayi'aha
la yasrifu 'anni sayi'aaha illa anta

(Oh Allah! guide me to the best conduct
because no-one guides to the best of it
but You, and turn from me bad conduct
as no-one can turn from me bad
conduct but You.)

 

 

اللهم إني أسألك فعل الخيرات, وترك المنكرات, وحب المساكين, وإذا أردت بعبادك فتنة فاقبضني إليك غير مفتون, برحمتك يا أرحم الراحمين


Allahumma inni as'aluka fi'lalkhairati,
wa tarkal-munkarati, wa hubbal-massakeeni,
wa idha ardta bi'ibaadika fitnahan faaqbidni
illaiyka ghaira maftunin, bi Rahmatika,
Ya ar-Hammar-Rahimeen.

(Oh Allah!, I ask You for doing good,
and abandoning evils, and to love the poor.
And when You wish to try Your servants,
so draw me to Your presence without trial.
By Your Mercy, Oh the Most Merciful
of all that is Merciful.)

 

 

اللهم اجعلني لك ذكارًا، لك شكارًا، لك مطواعًا، لك مخبتًا، إليك أواها، منيبا، رب تقبل توبتي، واغسل حوبتي، وأجب دعوتي، وثبت حجتي، واهد قلبي، وسدد لساني، واسلل سخيمة صدري".

O Allah! Make me (live and die) for You, oft-remembering You, grateful to You, obedient to You, humble before You, sighing, repentant. My Lord, accept my repentance, cleanse (me of) my misdeeds, answer my prayer, substantiate my plea, guide my heart, straighten my tongue and banish all ill-will from my breast.



رَضِِِيتُ بِا للهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالاِسْلامِ دِينً، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِياًّ
