When we are young, our hearts beat strong
Carrying the river of life to our soul
Refreshing our spirit as flowers in soft, summer rain.
The rhythm of life continues as we grow
Beating strong to help us on our way
As we dance to the music of our time
We see the seasons changing
As we ourselves change with the passing of time
As age comes upon us in the Autumn of our life
Our steps fall slowly as leaves
And come to rest on the soft earth beneath us
