My preference is the Chow Chow. I currently have one (Cinnamon-male)and have ow ed a Blue female and a Black male. They are really great dogs! Wonderful family pets, regardless of what people say of their temperment. I know you know what I mean since you must hear it all the time too! The only drawback to them that I have found is their stubborness, you have to train them early! Good luck and thanks again!

We at least have a "Tango-Girl" in common...I have a bitch named Tango, too, nice name...I think its great that there is someone out there who breeds good-coated Blues and Fawns, beautiful colors if they come with a nice coat ! Maybe a useful hint for you Champion of colour-page: You will hardly find any coloured european champions from the last 40 years, since the FCI only allows blacks and reds to be registered, ricicolous, isn´t it ? There ARE european dogs who carry the dilution factor, but only the lucky ones survive without egistration...Go figure what happens to the rest...it makes me sick. I´m planning to set up a information page about what´s going on in Germany and Europe with dobermans, especially about things that are not promoted...like the denial about vVW and cardiomyopathy in european dobermans and the effect on the european breedin stock...

I like your site - particularly the Dobies. Back in 75 I had two Dobies linebred on Felix. I like that you have his picture here. He did produce the BEST blues/fawns. I would give my 'eye teeth' for a good blue bitch. I currently have an 8 month old I wil be showing this summer. She is by CH. Foxridge's Banking on the Future (CH Irongate's Sierra Banker, CD son). There is a little of my stuff from CH Foxridge's Axel v Tercel and CH Joe-lin's Scarlet Poppies (Ridgecrest stuff). Check out my site and see my other guys - I will be updating Kristy's picture in the next couple of weeks. I think breeding Kristy to Look out for Ledo would be great. I had breed my old show bitch, Shalako's Pepperment Schnapps to Ledo but it didn't take (read 'My Story') on my web site. Sure wish it had!!!

What beautiful dogs! I obtained my first and only black male dobie 7 years ago through a vet clinic that I was working as a vet tech. He was going to be put down due to severe parvo, but his owners turned him over to me and we got him through treatment. He was a wonderful boy. I lost him last Fall to GDV (bloat)a week before his 7th birthday and still miss him very much. Maybe someday I can let another one into my heart. They are such sweet and loving companions!
