| Our dear sweet Buffy was born on May 31, 1989. She was a Lhasa Apso. We didn't get Buffy until she was almost a year old. She was given to us from our old neighbours who lived beside us at that time. They were moving to an apartment and could not take her with them. We didn't know for sure if we wanted a pet at that time but we gave it a try and we never looked back. She was a welcomed addition to the family.She did not sleep on a cold floor or on the carpet beside our bed she slept right with us .She enjoyed going for rides in the car and also going to the family trailer which we had at the time. She enjoyed going for walks at the lake and chasing balls untill she could not chase them anymore. She was a joy to be with and a special part of our family. She also blessed us with two litters of puppies which we kept one from each litter.They were all a joy. Everyone who came in contact with her loved her and she in turn loved them. There was always a kiss or two and her tail was always wagging when someone came through the door. Then in late October of 1998 we noticed that Buffy was dragging herself along. We took her to the vet who told us she had slipped a disk in her spine. There was no rhyme or reason why this happened . She did not fall or get hurt in anyway.She was on medication to help her and hopefully make her better but it never did. Then the time came for her next visit at the vet and we new she was no better. If anything she was worse and we had to make that horrible decision incase the vet told us there was nothing else he could do.We made the decision to let our dear sweet Buffy go and we stayed with her right to the end. It is one day I will not forget. Before that last sigh was heard we had already hugged her and told her we loved her. You are now in no pain and soon we will all be together again at the place they call "RAINBOW BRIDGE." We Love You Buffy and you are forever in our Hearts May 31, 1989 - November 30, 1998 |
| A BRIDGE CALLED LOVE ~~~~~~~~~~~~ It takes us back to brighter years, to happier sunlit days and precious moments that will be with us always. And those of recollections are treasured in the heart to bring us always close to those from whom we had to part. There is a bridge of memories from earth to Heaven above...
