Our "The Bold And The Beautiful" page

"The Bold and the Beautiful" is without a doubt the best soap on television. It is shown in the UK by Channel 5 at the new time of 1pm every weekday. We have only been watching it for a couple of months, but we have become hooked on the implausible storylines and "amateur dramatic" style acting. If you haven't seen it, then here's our short but somewhat comprehensive guide to the show.

The Characters

Dr. James Warwick
Learnt to act at the school of facial expressions. A psychotic psychologist whose childhood was "less than perfect". Over-concerned in the buisness of others.

Taylor (aka Princess Leila)
Has been dead. Suffered from amnesia during death at the time when she lived in Casablanca with Prince Omar and the children.

Ridge
Wears an amusing wig. Prone to giving boring, sickening speeches that are meant to be moving.

Brooke (aka Logan)
Possesive psychopath. Changes her hair color between every episode.

Thorne
Was being charged for murder. Managed to incriminate himself in court. Somehow is able to keep a suntan whilst in prison. Escaped from prison once in a laundry basket with Donald Slasher.

Macy
Amazingly emotional. Extremely dependent. Cannot sing.

Sally
Zip dress sense. Arrogant loudmouth. Nice hair, shame about the acting.

Stephanie
Exceedingly nosy. Her and Sally make a good pair.

Eric
I wonder what color the clouds are in his world? Unaware of what's going on around him.

Sheila
Is a baddy. Mixed-up past reflects in the acting. Not on the show at the moment, but will be back.

Anthony
Seemingly a fashion designer, with the notable exception of his wardrobe. Now in prison for murdering Ivanna. Shot Sally, but sadly it wasn't fatal.

Connor
Lawyer, with an apt name.

Lieutenent Burke
Seemingly the only police officer in Los Angeles. Also has an apt name.

Darla Einstein
See little of, thankfully. Macy's pal. Doesn't have an apt name

Jessica
Macy's pal. Childish little girl.

Dylan
Spends his life seducing childish little girls. Scum of the Earth.

Maggie
Jessica's mother. Also going out with Jessica's boyfriend (aka "Scum of The Earth")

The Official Bold and The Beautiful website is part of CBS' website. It is obviously definitive, but sadly does not contain any background information on the shows' history making it only of interest to those who watch it in North America.

The Bold and The Beautiful on Compuserve is the most comprehensive website dedicated to the B&B I have found, in the sense that it gives you storylines from way back when. It is also the only website I have found that gives you an update on storylines around the world, thus making it a better website to visit for the international fan.

Mary's B&B Fan Page is another good site to visit, and is perhaps the most fun page about the show on the internet.

K-Rock's Bold and the Beautiful Page has a load of images of your favorite stars from the show (but only four photos of Dr. James Warwick the last time I looked - something must be done!)

The Brooke Logan Fansite is also one of the better websites I have found about the Bold and the Beautiful, and it isn't all about Brooke Logan as well.

And now for an obscure link: Kauniit ja Rohkeat is a homepage about the Bold and the Beautiful from the Finnish television station which broadcasts it.

The Ridge Forrester Fansite - the title is self explanatory - a website dedicated to Ridge (the one with the amusing wig). It's a good site though.
