Fishing Tips
Jigs
A pork frog will make a jig sink slower. Use a "fat"
frog
when fishing for shallow bass, but a slimmer model
will
allow the jig to sink more rapidily to deeper fish.
You can trim off some bulk from the frog.
Spinnerbaits
Bass often hold tight to stumps, rocks and other
cover at night as well as the the day. Get there
attention by slamming your spinnerbait into the
cover.
Snags
Pull your boat "parallel" to the bank at night once
the productive depth zone has been established. This
also will reduce snags from casting your lure all the
way onto the bank.
Soft Plastics
Add a rattle to any soft plastic trailer to mimic
crayfish sounds.
Struccture
Alway fish places with structure (Docks, Trees, Logs,
Etc..)

Spade Fishing
I use a 8th .oz bullet sinker and 5 ot weedless hook
on a texas rig with a pork-o or usual bass plastics.
I run this rig on top of the spades slowly bouncing
the bullet sinker to imitate an insect slow days or a
moderate speed to imitate a frog, just keep your rod
tip high wait to feel the fish reel down and slam it.
I call this technic scum skipp"n,I also recommend
30lb.+ spider wire...
