What's your #1 reason for liking WuFei:

I guess the number one reason I like him is because he's different than my other favorite bishounen. All my other fave anime guys I tend to pick on them more offten than not. True I do tend to pick on Wu-Chan, but usually when I do that I'm writing for Duo. You'll see what I mean when I put up my fic; Gaming with Duo. Poor WuFei...

Okay... but why? Why do you like him:

He's cute... in a I'm a know-it-all, you're weak you shouldn't fight, leave me alone kind of way. You'd be a little grumpy too if no one understood you and kept getting in your way, when the weak shouldn't be fighting.

Let's rephrase. Why do you LIKE him:

Because he's WuFei. Actually that's not quite true. A lot of people just think he's a justice loving maniac, where as that was his wife. Yes, he was married.

MARRIED?!:

Yes, married. He got married when he was 14. Now shut up, Narrator. His wife, Merin, lived for justice and that's what she fought for. After she and WuFei got married she tried to pressure her point onto him. That failed until she died technically in his arms. That's when he decided to live for justice just as Merin wanted him to. However, I still think he doesn't believe in any kind of justice.

Why:

He was forced into an arranged marriage with a justice loving tomboy then she died in his arms. Is that justified?

Did he love her:

When I first heard about it, it didn't seem like he did and the more I read the Episode Zero manga, the more it seemed that he had. Because right before she died she asked if she was strong and worthy as his wife. Then when she died he got upset and told her that she hadn't excepted him as her husband yet. I thought it was very sad. Then I read a piece that wasn't released in single issues called OPERATION Meteor. Just one line that he had made me relize that he will never be paired with anyone unless he/she is simular to Nataku. And that line is; "I can't let my Nataku do such a thing." Every person he meets, like Sally for example, will be compaired to Merin. So in my opinion he doesn't end up with anyone because of that factor.

So if that statement is true, then why the SI(s):

I like making characters and not all of them get paired with WuFei mind you. The statement above basically means that he will look for one or more factors that make them like his wife. I really don't see Sally like that, just because I don't really like the pairing. Sally's a cool character and all, but she is too old for him and he knows it.

Out of all my original characters, Lina was the most like Merin. In fact she was a cross between Merin and WuFei. In the fic that Hee-Chan wrote for the Lina Saga called; I Don't Wanna Cry Midori basically told Robby that she didn't know how Lina and WuFei could stand one another. The answer is simple; she is like Merin and Merin was slightly like him.

I don't like seeing WuFei alone, so I make the SI. But now when a pairing is involved with WuFei I pair him with Merin. As of right now the Lina Saga is the only one that doesn't have the 5xM pairing. Out of all the Gundam girls, Merin is my favorite.

Do you have an obsession with the word 'Nataku':

I think it's pretty obvious that I do. Basically if you're named Nataku, I'll like you. Look at some of my other favorite bishounen; Nataku(Saiyuki), Nataku(X), Nataku(Houshin Egi). I also named my car Nataku, just because I could. I also have a character named Nataku becaused he was branded soulless, which is what the word mean. Nataku stands for "soulless" or "has no soul". And yes, WuFei was the source of my obsession with that word.

Most likely. But this is the way I first saw it spelled and I am way to lazy to go fix it and learn the other spelling.

According to a personallity test I took, yes. Probably becasue I name inanimate objects and I believe that the weak shouldn't fight.
