prairie collection clematis icon

The Prairie Collection , developed by Evison Poulsen, includes herbaceous, non-climbing clematis that only grow to about 3-4 feet. This unique quality allows them to be planted among other perennial plants as well as being used as low growing shrubs. The nodding flowers are elegantly shaped recurving at the tips and expand to 2-2 1/2" in diameter when fully open. They provide outstanding color in the garden as many flowers open at one time. The Prairie Collection is extremely winter hardy and can be grown in zones 3-9.
