Hello there! I am Lisa.
My husband Bruce & I live in Santa Cruz,
CA (USA) which is home of the Boardwalk.
It's walking distance from home--
like a big playground in our backyard.
Santa Cruz is on the
Monterey Bay which is part of the
Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
Weather permitting, we go sailing on his
parents' boat on this bay.
We get to see lots of otters &
dolphins up close & personal.

One of my favorite beaches is
Seacliff State Beach.
You can camp, have a picnic &
fish off the concrete ship "Palo Alto".

We enjoy camping, fishing
& being outdoors in general.
Whether it's a few hours fishing
at Loch Lomond or 2 weeks
on a houseboat on Lake Shasta,
it's nice to escape from the
sights & sounds of civilization.

Humane Society of the United States,
World Wildlife Federation
& Best Friends Sanctuary.
