Location is between Edenton, NC and Elizabeth City, NC.

It is about 8 miles south of Hertford and the area is called Holiday Island.

Go to the intersection on US 17 12 miles north of Edenton and 16 miles south of Elizabeth City, NC.

The town is Hertford but you will not go into town. Stay on US 17. At the intersection on US 17 “Popeyes” chicken is on the left going north and on the right going south. If you are coming from Elizabeth city it will be the next light after crossing the bridge on the Perquimans River. If you are coming from the Edenton direction watch for the speed limit to change to 50 mph and after passing Food Lion on the far right you will turn right at the next light.

You will be on Harvey Point RD. Watch for and follow the signs for “Albemarle Plantation”. Continue for about 4 miles and turn right on “Burgess Rd”. Continue to “T”. Turn left on Holiday Island La. Continue for about 3 miles. Continue past Albemarle Plantation and turn left on “Wilderness Rd. Watch for small sign “SRMC fish fry”. Continue and turn left on “Grey Fox Run”.
