WHAT: New Carlisle Hometown Days is a continuation of a long standing festival, revamped in 2005. We have enjoyed four very successful events under the new format.
New Carlisle Hometown Days is a not-for-profit endeavor sponsored by the New Carlisle Lion's Club. The steering committee consists of a group of citizens representing many area churches, businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, family oriented weekend.
To achieve this goal, we invite vendors of arts and crafts, antiques and specialty items to apply for a booth. We also have local food vendors, children and teen games, sports events, a midway with lots of rides, entertainment and more. A Saturday morning parade always brings out a crowd. A number of other events will be happening in town that day and will be sure to attract both locals and out of towners.
We advertise in area papers, tourism bureaus, TV spots, by word of mouth and more.
If you are a vendor, we invite you to be a part of the 2009 festival. If you are looking for a fun weekend, we invite you to join us at the park.
