Information Request For a true Jamaican fishing experience, join us aboard Nautigal in the laidback, picturesque town of Whitehouse on the South coast of Jamaica. Located 75-minutes from Montego Bay and 45-minutes from the resort town of Negril, Whitehouse, Jamaica offers an amazing selection of fish and fishing areas that something is always biting! Sailfish–white and blue marlin-wahoo-shark-barracuda-amber jack-kingfish-bonito-black and yellow fin tuna and dolphins are just some of the big game fish to be found offshore in Whitehouse, Jamaica. And best of all, you won’t have to travel far to get to the ‘hottest’ offshore fishing spots. In 15 minutes or less after leaving shore, you could be hauling in a 250 pound white or blue marlin, a magnificent 100-pound sailfish or a muscular 150 pound mako shark. Our favorite big game fish though are marlins as they put up a real fight once they are hooked, tugging and pulling on rods and lines for hours, jumping and jigging here and there before they can be landed. Of course, you’ll want to be certain that your chosen boat has the necessary gears for you to land the big one when it bites. Equally important, you’ll want to be assured that your selected vessel has plenty of leg room for you and your party to move around while at sea. Your chartered vessel, Nautigal possesses these qualities and more. Impeccably maintained, the 33-ft Nautigal sports fishing boat has all the gears you’ll expect to find on a top class fishing vessel including a white fighting chair positioned at the back of the boat. Additionally, Nautigal has over 60-cubic foot of leg room, allowing guest to move around with ease while at sea. Besides the necessary gears and ample leg room, Nautigal also have other features that add to guest comfort. These include an air-conditioned cabin with bunk beds, comfy sofas, radio, fridge, dining table, stove, toilet and freshwater shower. An experience and friendly crew is also at hand to ensure that guest needs are met to the fullest. In particular, you’ll love the jovial devotion of your crew, especially the ever smiling Captain Rodrick Mesquita, aka ‘Slice’ who has over 20 years of deep-sea-fishing experience and superb local knowledge, ensuring that you get taken to the most productive fishing sites in the quickest time and return with long lasting memories. The amount of time you spend at sea will be up to you and your party. You can pick from three packages: a 2-hour, 3-hour or 4-hour package. Our 2-hour package costs $300, our 3-hour $400 and our 4-hour $500. These rates are for a party of 1 to 6 guests and include everything: rod, reel, bait, ice-cold Red Stripe Beer, and water. While at sea, you’ll be using mostly Pen rods and reels with 50-to-80 pound test lines. For bait, we use a mixture of live and artificial lures. It can get very hot while fishing at sea. We therefore strongly recommend that guest consider taking along a cap or hat, sunscreen and sunglasses.
