Soo Catwoman
Soo Catwoman (aka Soo Lucas) was at the time of 1976/77 the frequently snapped female equivalent to Johnny Rotten. She was the UK punk scene's most original natty dresser. Soo an early Sex Pistols devotee became a punk rock style guru in her own right with her original catwoman haircut that has been worn the world over ever since. It was apparently cut for her in a barbers shop in Ealing in 1976. Soo soon disappeared off the punk scene as the Pistols imploded in America, and settled down to become a mother. She was portrayed in the 'The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle' by a young unknown actress. She did made a rare TV appearance on Channels 4's 'Top Ten Punk' programme not so long back sporting braids.
