John Foxx - Ultravox! |
Artistic, stylish and very Joan Of Arc even here in 1976 John Foxx was more a model punk than the catalogue dummys of the time. He had that air of intelletualism about him that created some great songs and stumped us along the way? His Ultravox period was pure sci-fi. He was one of those lyricists that was never gonna be sung on the back seat of a bus on a Friday night. But 'Young Savage' got that punk rush going. This snap is taken from their debut album back in 1976. Background image - John Foxx belting out another tale of "anything goes where no-one knows your name!" |
