Toshiya and All That Glitters

The song started calmly, with its guitar sound playing, surrounding the air. The beat of the drum started and each one of them felt so painful. He could hear is own bass in the background. It used to be so clear but somehow, right now, the drums and he guitar, and the singer’s voice enclosed it, as if the bass was isolated, like it didn’t belong to the song it didn’t belong there.

He didn’t belong there

Toshiya blinked and shook his head, trying to get that thought out of his mind. Instead, he focused on the song, and the way Kyo had said about it. Why would Kyo ask him to do the remix?

Simple, because it was Tai you no ao.

It was the song that filled his broken heart

It was the song that he heard that night

It was the song that made him wept even more

It was so sad, so painfully wrenching his body, his soul…and he had cried endlessly for that song was ever being written and played at that exact time.

It was his song

Kaoru

The man he loved and hated

Toshiya gripped the bed sheet tightly and bit his lip hard.

There should no more emotion involved in it, but he could still feel the tears forming on the corners of his eyes

Was it his own fault that he fell in love with Kaoru?

No, no one could help falling in love

Was it his fault to go to Kaoru’s house that evening?

No, and he didn’t even expect a reply to his love

He just wanted to talk

That’s’ all

Was it Kaoru’s fault?

Yes

Why?

Kaoru abandoned him

How?

Sleeping with Shinya

Betraying Die

But HE slept with Die and there was nothing between Die and Shinya in the first place

Was it Shinya’s fault then?

Yes

How so?

Shinya should know how he felt toward Kaoru

Love

Toshiya stared at the stereo which was still keep repeating the song. He rubbed his temple and got up. There was a determine look on his face and Toshiya grabbed his sweater. He ran outside to the kitchen, opened the fridge and took a bottle out. Then he ran to the genkan, picked the keys and put on his running shoes.

“Ah! Do you remember to bring a towel? I FORGOT!!!” Kyo shrieked like a mad woman and ran about. His face showed pure horror. Die gave him a malice look while Kaoru cackled endlessly. Shinya stared at the panicked man weirdly while Toshiya yawned and threw Kyo a cushion. He was sitting on the couch beside the red head and everyone was waiting for Punk to pick them out. They were in the studio.

“I didn’t know Kyo ko was so excited to go to the spa!” Shinya muttered. Hearing that, Kyo stopped and glared.

Kaoru laughed holding his stomach while Die got up and smacked Kyo’s back

“ITAI!!!!”

“Stop pretending!!!!” Die shouted. Kyo glared and looked up just to see Die having a maniac grin on his face. Kaoru by this time was crouching on the ground, threatening to roll on the ground laughing. Shinya looked at the scene in front of him confusedly, obviously didn’t know that Kaoru had to literary drag Kyo out of the bed, pushed him into the bathroom. While the purple head thought Kyo would be ready he walked in and saw Kyo lying on the bathroom floor sleeping.

Die growled and storm into the bathroom and Kaoru almost passed out when he witnessed the sight of Die struggling to pull Kyo’s legs while Kyo himself helplessly clung on the edge of the bathtub, kicking everywhere.

“It’s a SPA Kyo. You can have as many towels as you can there!” Die stated firmly. He was still holding Kyo like someone would hold a cat, by the collar. Kyo licked his lips and bit Die’s chest.

“WHAO!!!!”

Toshiya burst out into laughter and Kaoru winced painfully. Shinya giggled seeing the expression Die was serving him. It was priceless.

“KYO!!!!!”

Kyo let out his ZAN laughter and ran around the room as Die chase him

Toshiya stared at the two older men with a smile on his face. Like he was enjoying every moment of it and was glad he was part of it, he was part of them. He giggled seeing them but then the corner of his eyes caught something else.

“Kaoru kun, are you okay?” Shinya smiled and bent down, looking at Kaoru, who was sitting on the floor.

“Gomenasai minna san”

Everyone turned to the source of the voice and Punk stood there looking sheepish, “Sorry I’m late ne” he apologized and walked to Shinya, who smiled back. Kaoru stood up and looked at him. Punk nodded and he nodded back. Then they heard a yelp and both Kaoru and Shinya sweat dropped while Punk looked shocked.

It was Kyo’s yelp as Die caught his arm and Toshiya joined in, pretending to strangle the smaller guy.

“Brrr….it’s so cold!” Kyo trembled and wrapped himself up with a towel. Toshiya looked around and pouted, “It’s not!”

“That’s becuz you’re wearing your shirt!!!” Kyo growled causing Toshiya to giggle. He inched closer and wrapped his arms around Kyo, “Ne, let me warm you up!”

Kyo whimpered pitifully and let Toshiya hugged him tighter.

“MOU!!!!”

Could have imagined the way Toshiya sweat dropped and Kyo made a face hearing that

“Shinchan….what are you doing?” Die whined as Shinya threw him few ice cubes from his juice drink.

Kaoru was chatting with Punk, asking him what this was, what that was, and he was trying to find out the good stuff about this and that, and the side effect of spas and saunas. Kyo and Toshiya had already proceeded into the small room.

“I’m not gonna let them massage me!” Kyo huffed and walked in, and then he took his time looking at the wooden bench attached on the wooden wall. Toshiya closed the door and giggled, “Don’t be such a whiner” he commented and did what Kyo was doing. Then he sat down and leaned on the wall, “You can have guys massaging you,, instead of the girls” he grinned and bent down, pouring water on the heater (arg, u know what I’m talking about ne?)

Kyo coughed as smokes filled the small space

“Don’t be such a baby”

“Bleh! Shoo cold!!!”

“It’s too early to say that!!!”

“Let’s try the sauna” Punk suggested and Kaoru nodded. Die walked toward them but he turned around and saw Shinya going the other way. Hw called out and the younger one pointed at a direction

“I’m going to the pool. I’ll join you guys later”

Die sighed, “You’re always so anti social” he commented. Punk laughed, “Shin-shin be careful! Sometimes the temperature can go higher by itself!” he exclaimed. Shinya nodded and waved good bye. Kaoru played with his towel and hit Die with it, the red head looked surprised but played along anyway. Punk laughed and watched with amusement. Then he blinked, “Where is Kyo kun?” he asked the older two.

Die looked around and shrugged

“I think in that room over there” Kaoru answered and pointed at a direction

Die looked a little surprise

“Oh, let’s go there then…” Punk walked away followed by the other two. When they reached there, Punk opened the door and the first thing they saw was smoke coming out. Kaoru stepped back while Die waved his hands around, trying to get rid of the smokes. It was preventing him from seeing clearly. Punk storm in and laughed, “My God!!! How come?! Toshiya kun, you should have waited for it you know. It’s kind of dangerous to keep pouring water into it!!!” he stated

“Ne!” a voice appeared, ‘What makes you think it was me who did it?!”

“Heheh”

“Shut up”

Kaoru and Die exchanged looks

“It was Kyo keep pouring water into it!”

“hey! Can’t blame me! It’s so addictive to see the smokes coming out as soon as you pour the water in! So much fun!!!”

“To think of what your first reaction is… Itai!!!”

Kaoru and Die giggled

Punk looked around confusedly, “Am I missing something?”
