The center ditch took
about 2 months to dig, remember this in Mo. and the hottest time of the year. We
were having days of over 90 degree tempitures. You could only work for a few
hours each morning.

Looking from North to
south almost down the center of the house. That is the center wall foundation
ditch.

Standing in the
center ditch looking east, this ditch is about 1-3 feet deep depending on where
in the ditch you are. Both ditches were dug with a four pound hand pick and
shovel.

By the way that is a
five gallon bucket beside the cement foundation top right picture. This gives
the ability to see how high/deep items are. I'm standing in the center ditch at
the south end.
