Al's Biography

The son of Max Holden and Gabrielle Medina, Al was born near the Amazon river (giving him the nickname "Amazon Al"). He is the former half-nephew of Antonio Vega. He nearly secured his future when Asa Buchanan adopted him and bequeathed him a bundle of money. However, Al found out about Asa's mistakes, and rejected the inheritance.

Al fell in love with Marcie Walsh, after many weeks of denying their attraction for each other. Marcie became the victim of hazing at Llanview University, and was thrown into a dumpster. Al found her, and the two later gave into their passion for the first time and became lovers.

Because of Al's previous drug addiction, his weakened liver became infected when he caught an illness that Marcie had contracted in the dumpster. Al died.

Once in Heaven, Al begged Luna to help him get his life back, so to speak. She encouraged him to speak to Marcie as Al's ghost. Finally the plan was made that if Al could get Marcie to fall in love with Michael McBain, he could come back to earth as a new man.

Finally, Marcie fell in love with Michael, and they've been happily together ever since.
