Jesus Christ was a descendent of King David |
The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn fom it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. Psalm 132:11 Jesus Christ the Prophet, previously existed in heaven with God. Deuteronomy 18:18,19 John 12:49,50..John 17:8..I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: John 16:28..Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not..but I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. John 7:28,29 God is a Spirit..John 4:24..The angels of God are spirits..Psalm 104:4..Hebrews 1:7,13, 14..If Jesus Christ previously existed in heaven with God, and God is a Spirit, and the Angels of God are Spirits, then, Jesus Christ was a Spiritual being who lived in heaven with the Angels, and with God, that explains why Jesus Christ said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." John 8:58..and also, "I know him: and if I should say I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying." John 8:55 God the Father who anointed Jesus Christ called Jesus Christ a God! Hebrews 1:8,9 God prepared a body, made of a woman..Galatians 4:4..for Jesus Christ the God to live in while he was on the earth..Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me. Hebrews 10:5 The father of Jesus Christ was Joseph, who was a descendent of King David. Luke 3:21-23 The mother of Jesus Christ was Mary, the virgin, who gave birth to the holy child Jesus. Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23 The Highest overshadowed Mary the virgin, and impregnated her. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David. And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, the Holy Ghost shall fall upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Luke 1:26-35..Jesus Christ, the spiritual God within the prepared body was a holy thing. Jesus Christ the Prophet said there is no marriage in heaven. For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels which are in heaven. Mark 12:25..For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world..And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever. 1 John 2:16,17 Did Mary remain a virgin all of her life? No! Matthew 1:24,25 tells us..then Joseph being raised from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth he firstborn son: and called his name JESUS. Was Mary the mother of any other children? Yes! Watching far off from the place of Christ's death, we see Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome; Mark 15:40..and in Matthew 13:55,56 we see, that that Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ and his brothers James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas, and of his sisters. |
