- ABM Jr. (It's Only Love) was considered for this movie but they opted to get Lloyd Samartino, right after his successfull movie Gabun.
- Several producers wanted the movie rights for Annie Batungbakal including the rival camp but Nora's movie prod won the title rights.
-Annie Batungbakal was one of the many movies that were tagged as Nora's last card. Many stars including Alma Moreno and Rudy Fernandez made a cameo appearance to help Ate Guy.
-Annie Batungbakal's premiere night was held at Galaxy Theater and was sponsored by PMPC on September 13, 1979.
