Cache Creek
Just a few weeks ago nag-concert din sa Cache Creek si Zsa Zsa Padilla at si Pops Fernandez and a year ago si Gary Valenciano, pero dahil malayo at takot akong magdrive sa lugar na hindi ko kabisado, hindi na ako nanood. I've never been to Cache Creek Casino but this time, naglakas loob akong mag-drive doon para lang panoorin ang concert ni Ate Guy.
It was a long drive through so many farms and the drive home was even scarier kasi madilim at puro farm lang lahat. Walang gaanong bahay na dinadaan. (I know this is not a big deal for a lot of people but for a recluse like myself, it was difficult). Pero it was worth it para lang mapanood si Ate Guy.
The show open with a PorkChop Duo singing Devoted to You and Let it be Me, songs from Nora's time. Medyo puro green jokes ang tema nila pero kwela naman sa audience. Napahaba yata ang numbers nila kaya panay ang senyas ni Norie Sayo at isa pang babae pero tuloy pa rin sila.
Finally it was Nora's turn. She opened her portion with an OPM medley. For her next song, sabi ni Ate Guy hindi na nya sana gustong kantahin pero dahil nirequest, kinanta niya ang Pearly Shells. Tama yata si Ate Guy, dapat ng ipahinga muna ang kantang yan. :)
Parang walang bago sa perfornance na ito compared to her show in Vallejo. Nandoon ang medley ng Hotdog songs, ang audience participation pero okay lang. Enjoy pa rin ang audience. Very succesful ang show. Maraming tao. As usual suguran ang mga tao sa stage para kamayan at magpapicture with Ate Guy.
Sana next show ni Ate Guy, magsama naman siya ng tulad ng isang Kuh Ledesma or Zsa Zsa Padilla at puro new numbers naman. Pero okay lang kung hindi, dahil siguradong nandiyan pa rin ang mga Noranians to support her show.
