Bongbong (Nora Aunor) is a devoted fan of matinee idol Phillip (Tirso Cruz III). Going to his show is an escape from the drudgery of her miserable life with her aunt (Bella Flores). After a particularly nasty fight, Bongbong leaves home and presents herself as a servant to Phillip's family. But Phillip's mom (Tita Munoz) always abuses Bongbong's kindness so she decides to go back to her aunt. Now that she's gone, Phillip feels an emptiness within. Does he merely miss her or does he love her already?
