Sunday JUNE 10th - The land for this dig was absolutely superb to dig being 63 acres of low crop. Its a shame that only 22 cars turned up on site . However we did have to use this land only a month previous for a midweek dig so that may have put some off. However the finds still came up. 4 hammered, 1 roman, 2 jetons, silver seal, silver love token, 3 trade tokens, 5 buckles and 2 thimbles. Also a yorkshire rifles 1st world war badge and various Georgian coinage. Only one picture of the gathering below so I will leave the previous dig pictures up aswell. Until Next time folks. |
