NortheastIron took to the Pocono East track for some time trial action. Several trialers where on hand for some mid season fun.
The event got off to a good start with everyone getting some good seat time. Piscatelli and Popp were having some fun dicing it up in lap traffic. Eventually an RX7 out in front of them looped it coming off the bowl, both Piscatelli and Popp looped it as well trying to avoid the RX7 while Drake got by cleanly. Phil King grilled up some burgers for the NEI trialers during lunch. Both Bellow brothers had mechanical issues and where unable to make the timed runs. Piscatelli had mechanical trouble as well but borrowed Drakes ride for the timed runs. New comer Jim Kelble had a solid first day. Come trophy time Drake took 1st with a record setting 1:14.18 timed lap.
