LUSANKYA

This Super-class Star Destroyer, built at Kuat Drive Yards, was hidden by Emperor Palpatine in a drydock located beneath Imperial City on Coruscant. A series of huge, hexagonal lift cells held the ship ready for deployment. The razing of vast areas of Coruscant's surface, the ship's construction, and its subsequent burial with additional levels of cityscape, had to be masked from the populace by the Emperor Palpatine and the use of the Dark Side of the Force. It was completed just before the Battle of Endor. The first person the Emperor let onto the ship was Ysanne Isard, and she loved the ship from that point on. Much of the ship's internal systems were given special override commands which allowed only Isard to gain access to them. After Palpatine's death at Endor, Isard used it to house the prisoners of war still held by the Empire, including Jan Dodonna, Tycho Celchu, and Corran Horn. When the Krytos virus was defeated and Tycho Celchu was found innocent of Corran Horn's death, Isard decided that it was time to leave. She used the Lusankya's turbolasers to destroy the city above it, then lifted free of its lift cells. It then punished the planetary shields and escaped from Coruscant, fleeing to Thyferra. The Lusankya was then placed under the command of Joak Drysso, who tried to destroy the space station used by Rogue Squadron near Yag'Dhul. He barely escaped, and returned to Thyferra. The Lusankya was then placed between the planet and the Rogues' forces as the Battle of Thyferra ensued. However, the surprise of having the Avarice - now under New Republic flags but still commanded by Sair Yonka- and the Virulence - now commanded by Booster Terrik - start shooting at the larger ship left the Lusankya badly damaged. Drysso threatened to ram the dying ship into the planet Thyferra, but he was shot by one of his Lieutenants. The Lieutenant, Waroen, surrendered to Wedge Antilles and the crew was allowed to defect or leave Imperial service.

JAN DODONNA

Jan Dodonna was one of the Old Republic's foremost military tacticians. He defected to the Alliance, and became one of their greatest strategists. He was placed in charge of the attack on the first  Death Star, and agonized without sleep over the plans delivered by Leia Organa. His keen insight discovered the flaw in the reactor shaft, and he organized the snubfighter battle around it. With the Death Star gone, Dodonna was placed in charge of defending  Yavin 4 until a new base could be found. He helped destroy a wing of Imperial TIE Bombers that attacked Yavin 4, but was critically wounded in the battle. He was captured by the Imperials, and was imprisoned at the Lusankya facility. Known as the "Old Man," Dodonna was the unofficial leader of the prisoners working in the mines when Corran Horn was sent there. Jan helped Corran escape the facility, but couldn't escape with Horn without endangering the other prisoners. When Horn made his attempt, Jan noticed that Evir Derricote was attempting to follow him. Jan pursued Derricote and deflected his first attack on Horn. Corran was able to kill Derricote with the very shovel Derricote attacked him with. Jan remained behind when Corran left, and was probably transported to Thyferra when the Lusankya left Coruscant.

PULSAR SKATE

A Baudo-class star yacht owned by Mirax Terrik, named for a deep-sea creature on Coruscant which it resembled. The starship once belonged to her father, and was modified by Wedge Antilles who, at the age of fifteen, replaced its fusion chamber on the starboard engine. When Wedge took the new Rogue Squadron to the Chorax System, it found the Skate. being detained by the Imperial Interdictor-class ship Black Asp. The Rogues managed to scare off the Asp, and the Skate assisted in the rescue of Corran Horn's X?Wing. Mirax's father used the shhip to smuggle spice, which attracted the attention on Hal Horn, who hunted down the elder Terrik and captured him. Horn sent Terrik to the correctional facility on Kessel. Mirax held no small amount of contempt for Corran Horn, despite Wedge's allegiance to Rogue Squadron, but she held her tongue. Mirax agreed to assist the New Republic during the Krytos crisis, ostensibly acting as the lead ship in the convoy that was to bring bacta from Thyferra to Coruscant, via the Alderaan System. The convoy was attacked by the Warlord Zsinj, after he was tipped off as to the convoy's flight plan, before Reogue Squadron could arrive to escort it to Coruscant. It was believed that Mirax and the Skate were destroyed in the ambush, but they had left the convoy and gone to Borleias with a sample of the bacta.

THRANTA-CLASS WARSHIP

Developed by the Alderaanian military, the Thranta-class was one of the last warships built before Alderaan demilitarized. All of the Thranta-class ships were supposedly destroyed when the planet removed all weapons, but three ships - the Valiant, Courage, and Fidelity - were retained to guard the Another Chance.

CHIR’DAKI (DEATHSEEDS)

This starfighter design was created by the Twi'leki race, and was named after the spore of a parasitic fungus. They are just as lethal as the deathseed spore they are named for. Hyperdrive-equipped and powered by twin ion engines at sublight speeds, the Chir'daki have maneuverable wings powered by small S-foils. They are armed with four laser cannons, but proton torpedoes were optional because of their shortage during the early years of the New Republic.

DWARF-CLASS FREIGHTER

This 150-meter freighter was built by Rendili Star Drive. It could transport up to 1,500 metric tons of cargo.  It required a crew of 400, and was armed with 9 quad-laser batteries and a single turbolaser. The Dwarf-class had a gently-curving hull reminiscent of various Mon Calamari designs. The Vengeance Derra IV was a modified Dwarf-class transformed into a Imperial spy ship. It slipped into the Pyria System to see if the New Republic had actually retaken Borleias. It was sent by the Imperial warlord Zsinj, to see who controlled the planet. It was driven off by Corran Horn and Rogue Squadron
