New River Valley Bassmasters
In 2005, we as a club, decided to stay with B.A.S.S. instead of joining with TBF/FLW. At this time, many clubs were making the change to TBF/FLW. We are a proud member of the Virginia Federation Nation.
Our club is a 25+ member club that competes for places in the Mr. BASS and Six Man Team Tournaments.
We have 10 tournaments in which we fish for points in the club and 2 invitational tournaments that are open to members of the community each season. Our largest and most popular tournament is our Dogwood Invitational Tournament that comes around at the end of April each year. This tournament has a guaranteed first place prize of $1000 with a full field.
All boats large and small are welcome as well as anyone that might not have a boat - we have plenty of members that have a boat but are looking for a good partner that might be a non-boater.
Our tournament fees are $40 entry per boat and an optional $10 big fish pot.
