I'm a Vietnam Era Veteran, affiliated with the following Organizations:
The American Liver Foundation, Disabled Veterans Association of Illinois, 
Italian American War Veterans, Vietnam Veterans of America.

On May 7th, of 2001, I went to Washington D.C. to petition Congress for more research money to help find a cure for Hepatitis-C. Current estimates are that 4.9 million Americans are infected with this insipid virus...more than 4 times the number of people infected with the HIV/AIDS virus.

I had appointments with the Secretary of the Veterans Administration, and Dr. Susan Mather from the VA Office of Public Health & Environmental Hazards.
I also had appointments with Senators Peter Fitzgerald & Richard Durbin.
I had appointments with Congresswoman Schakowsky, Congressmen Jerry Moran& Danny Davis
