North America is a popular place to find very tall biuldings. Both Canada and the U.S. have some of the tallest buidings in the world. Mexico's capital, Mexico City is the largest city in population in the world. History has a big impact also. Many sailors and vikings sailed to America in the early years. The United States along with Canada and Mexico have several diferent climates. Canada is the world's second largest country after Russia. (Though most of the land is useless for farming) Canada also has a share of large cities, like Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Vancouver. Vancouver is a major seaport for Canada.
The United States has several big cities itself. New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, San Diego, San Francsisco, Philidelphia, Detriot, Atlanta, and Dallas. These cities help give the U.S. a strong economy.
Sadness has also occured for the U.S. on September 11. I would like to thank all the firefighters and officers for caring about the people over their own safety and lives. They are true heroes. Also to the families who lost a loved one. |
