| South America is has several great wonders. They have the largest rain forest in the world. They have the second longest river in the world. This is the Amazon. It holds the most water of any river in the world even though it is not the longest. They also have the largest statue of Christ in the world. Brazil has the majority of South America's wonders, but the western most countries have something that the majority of Brazil doesn't: the Andes Mountains. South America may not have large oil reserves but it does have a high amount of oil. South America, or rather the area near the Amazon River has hydro electric power. This is a safer way to get electric power, but can only be taken from fast moving water, like the Amazon, or if there is a dam to hold the water. |
