HISTORY OF OBELISK TEMPLE # 187
   The Imperial Council of the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, of the North and South America and it's Jurisdictions, Inc., in witness whereof on the Fourth day of the month Shaaban, Hegria 1394 which corresponds to the 23rd day of August 1974, Obelisk Temple No. 187 was constituted and recognized by the Imperial Council.
   
     On that date Noble Howard Anderson was elected Obelisk Temple No. 187's Illustrious Potentate, with James L. Branch as Chief Rabban and James E. Eubank as Assistant Rabban.
   
     At the time that Obelisk Temple was Chartered, the Imperial Potentate was John Edghill and the Imperial Recorder was Booker T. Alexander.

     Obelisk Temple was the First Temple to be established in the Far East. Since that time, men of all walks of like have been created and have carried on that long proud tradition of Noble Birth.
