Avebury village and it's surrounding stone circle is witness to numerous Druid and Pagan activity throughout the year. This site is considered sacred by many Druid Orders in England including:
The Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids; the Bristish Druid Order;
the Loyal Arturian War Band,
and member groups of the the Council of British Druid Orders.

Avebury Stone Circle, Wiltshire.
West Kennet Long Barrow and Silbury Hill (below) are two prehistoric monumnets close to Avebury that are also visited by pilgrims. If you decide to visit the Avebury complex, please don't climb Silbury Hill - she's very fragile.
Druid ceremonies are well attended around the solstices, equinoxes, full and new moons. The whole place seems to have a wonderful feminine energy. Interesting...
