| Perhaps you are wondering, "What the heck is this?" Well keep your panties on and I'll tell you. Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon is a game created by three college students who were inspired my the movie "Six Degrees of Seperation." The theory is any person in the world can be linked to any other person within six degrees. An example? Okay. Pretend with me that... Owen Wilson was in a movie called "Dirty Booty Freaks" in 1984 with Luke Skywalker. Luke Skywalker met Elvis Presley at an orgie in 1969. Elvis Presley purchased some LSD from Betty Frumple in 1970. Betty Frumple is the mother of Billy Frumple, born 1976. I made out with Billy Frumple at a party in 2000. Taa Daaa! According to that imaginative account, there is a five degree seperation between Owen and me. |
| Six degrees of Kevin Bacon takes this concept, and uses it for actors. They, within their own little world, can supposedly all be linked to each other within six degrees. Kevin Bacon became the measuring point for this widely popular game, as he himself, has been (at times) widely popular. Without further needless rambling, I bring to you the seperation between Owen Wilson and Kevin Bacon. |
