Young Amanda Evans was borne on the planet Sha'nia, her telepathic abilities have helped this young woman to take command, and give her an edge in dangerous positions, which has allowed her to adapt to new situation.
Veay little is known about her species, except the fact that her people are telepathic, and that they had entered the epmire over one-hundred yeas ago. Her people are also deep in their belifes always seeking there enter clam.
Evens is a kind, caring person; she also at times can be tough, her dedication and diplomacy have earned her respect and recognition as one of the best in the Dark Forces. Amanda Evans pressured her career in the Dark Force's Counselor corp.
And was a ship counselor in board the U.S.S. Nova for a short time, before returning back to Sha'nia to the University for her degree in advanced psychology. After graduating she then retruned to the Dark forces she then was transferred to the U.S.S. Odyssey.

On her last trip to Sha'nia Amanda was given a Sha'nian cat from her aunt as a gift. She later named her cat "Cyane."
