Provides essential services such as day care and information; campaigns on issues like age discrimination and pensions; works to influence public opinion and government policy about older people.

Local branch nearest to Moor Park is North Shields Branch, meeting at 1.30pm on second Tuesday of each month at the Catholic Club, Cecil Street, North Shields.
