I wonder if the world is aware
That it is blessed with an angel like you
The soft and gentle way you shine
In everything you do.

Your easy manner, your willingness to help
Leaving your own desires aside
You make sure that others have what they need
Then help yourself if there's time.

You never scold, laugh or scoff
Or belittle your fellowman
Instead just reach out to your neighbors
And lend a helping hand.

In this old world of grief and  woe
No matter what shall be tide
I thank my heavenly Father above
I have been blessed by your softer side.
