This is the second of a series of letters that I've received about Thunder's needless death. . |

Updates on my Thunder's Murder, 7-23-2006 I have not read my original statement in years but I thought I would add the following: I called many lawyers in Texas and I found none in the beginning to help. I even called that group that is very radical and they even offered me some money for a lawyer. I got a hold of an attorney not far from here. She held this case for ALMOST 2 years promising to do something. Within 3 days before the deadline of the statues she tells me to contact Dawn R. down in Austin I think. I do, and she promised all kinds of things like we have a case, yayda yayda and takes well over $10,000.00 from me. THREE days before we go to court the Governor of the state of Texas appoints her to the Vet Board! Can anybody see COVERUP! Remember this is Texas and the good ole boys are on top. Dawn tries to find me another lawyer and NOBODY WANTS IT! NOBODY CARES. Dawn resigns as my attorney and I lose $10,000.00 if not more. I didn’t keep track. And frankly don’t care; it was not about the money. This part is all hear say. Dawn stays in contact with me, under the table, you might say. I keep writing my letters to the board begging to do something. My letters are blocked by some guy whose name is not important. Finally he just tells me to stop bugging them. Dawn also stops emailing me as well because I no longer believe in her. She is part of the system. She was more worried about her correct standing than justice. Yes that (torks).... me off and it is WRONG! If she were honest she would have finished my case. I have a 6” high stack, if not higher, of all the emails and all the letters. Revenge is mine. Say it, Marcia. I have been by this place maybe 10 times and it is all I can do to NOT RUN MY CAR THROUGH THE LOBBY. WHY? Because I don’t want to hurt innocent people. But the people have to know about this guy. Papers will not print my sorry because they are afraid of lawsuits. My car is 25 years old, and made of real metal; I don’t think my car will be hurt. I have all the letters all the emails, it is not illegal to murder a horse in the state of Texas, remember we have TWO horse slaughter plants only 50 miles from me. Yes I am a real radical against this and so I do my part to try and put a stop to it. We had it until OUR OWN USDA went against the acts of congress by receiving payoffs of $46.00 per horse. I can’t forget and I can only hope that SOMEBODY does something to their family like they did to mind. Love you all Marcia I just found this letter in "Word", and this letter did NOTHING! This was the letter that was blocked so it could not get to the board. And by the way, the board is secret, I can’t see the vet’s side of this, but he can see mine. February 7, 2002 To the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners It has just come to my attention that I can re-file my case with the board. I believe that the first time my case was looked at, it was not read. My case is based on Negligence. My horse died because the vets at the P. Vet Clinic, P., TX, neglected him. The two Veterinarians working at the time were H... and H... My horse died when he was not taken care of at the P. Vet Clinic. My horse Thunder, was given the drug, ATROPINE. A licensed Veterinarian must give this drug. The vet also must MONITOR the horse at all times while under this drug. Thunder’s medical records are not available, I asked several times for them and they refused, saying they no longer have them. This dangerous drug was given to me to administer to my horse. I was NEVER told or cautioned on the use of this drug. Had I known this drug was so very dangerous, I would have NEVER allowed it to me given to my horse. My horse died because there was NOT a Veterinarian on the property when he died. My horse would not have died, had a vet been there to help him.
