Christmas
Eve
It’s Christmas Eve
in Sydney,
And I would like to
say,
It’s a long way from
the North Pole,
For Reindeer to pull
a sleigh.
With Big old portly
Santa
And his great big
sack of toys,
Filled with lots of
goodies,
For all the girls
and boys.
And what of all those
reindeer?
Can they find their
way?
I hope they have a
road map,
Brought up to date
each day.
But I suppose they’ll
manage,
They have done so
in the past;
But I hope their brakes
work smartly,
Cause they’ll be going
very fast.
I think they’ll be
OK,
They do it every year,
And I’m not really
worried.
‘Cause tonight they
will be here.
So I wish you Merry
Christmas,
And the Happiest New
Year,
Reminding you to all
be good,
‘Cause Santa comes
again next year.
