Tutoring subjects can include mathematics (pre-algebra, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, pre-calculus, SAT / GMAT / GRE / PSAT / GED / CLEP preparation, statistics, etc., up to college level calculus), science (up to college level physics), finance and economics (up to MBA level), languages (a number of languages to choose from), and general personal computer / internet usage (Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, VBA, JavaScript, HTML, C++, Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Lotus Notes).
Tutoring and teaching experience include one-on-one tutoring of students in elementary, middle, and high schools, colleges, and MBA candidates.
Group tutoring experience in SAT preparation (math and verbal), and in Calculus.
Your potential tutor was a teaching assistant in Calculus at the University of Chicago Mathematics Dept., has a BA from Univ. of Chicago, and an MBA from Yale Univ. School of Management. He earned 800 out of 800 in the GRE math section, and 700 out of 800 (98th percentile) in GMAT.
Generally, tutoring sessions take place in Old Greenwich, Riverside, Cos Cob, Stamford, Wilton, Norwalk, Greenwich, and/or other areas in Fairfield and Westchester counties.
