Rhoda Jane Hill was born about 1793 in North Carolina and married about 1815 Daniel S. McCay/McKay, the son of Daniel McCay/McKay, probably in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Their children are:

Harbert Hill, was born about 1797 in North Carolina and died between 1850 and 1860 in Georgia, possibly Gordon County. He married 24 Jun 1818 in Rutherford County, NC Jerusha McKay/McCay, the daughter of Daniel McKay/McCay. Jerusha was the sister of Daniel McKay/McCay who married Harbert's sister Rhoda Jane. Harbert and Jerusha had these children:
